This course will provide you with the basic skills, knowledge and information to safely operate an Excavator or a Mini Excavator.
Participants will be able to:
- Drive and operate the Excavator/Mini Excavator safely to the Metalliferous Mining unit MNMOLH301A Conduct Excavator Operations or Civil Construction BCCPO3003B Conduct Excavator Operations
- Loading Haul Truck
- Trenching
- Ascending & Descending the Bench
- Building ramp’s
- Facing up benches
- Cleaning areas
- Work safely in a productive environment

Favourable assessment outcomes from this training result in a Statement of Attainment in Partial Completion of a Certificate II in Metalliferous Mining (Open Cut) or Certificate III in Civil Construction.
