This module will provide you with the basic skills, knowledge and information to safely operate a Grader.
Participants will be able to:
- Operate a Grader safely to the Metalliferous Mining unit MNMOMS306A Conduct Grader Operations.
- Set Correct Position and blade height
- Spread heaps and level material
- Maintain level floor and spillage clean up
- Build safety windrow
- Grader position on ramps
- Use wheel lean appropriately
- Use scarifies effectively
- Cut and fill as required
- Use basic cuts to form roads
